Delete Your Account

The fastest way: open Sam, go to Settings → Delete Account, and confirm. This deletes your account and all your data immediately — no waiting period, no email required.

If you can’t access the app, email us at smallhoursideas@gmail.com from the email address associated with your Sam account, with the subject line “Account Deletion Request.” We’ll verify your request and permanently delete your account and data within 30 days, and confirm by email once it’s done.

• Your account (Firebase Auth login, name, email)
• Your Faith Profile (denomination, life stage, life season, faith journey, notification preferences, and so on)
• Points balance and Premium subscription status
• Daily reading history, chat history with Sam, and Share & Pray history
• Prayer list, prayer journal, and weekly reflections
• Memory verse progress and streak history
• Cached push notification token

Purchases processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play are governed by their own retention rules — we don’t control or store your payment details, and a store-side purchase/billing record may persist there independent of your Sam account being deleted. If you were subscribed to Sam Premium, deleting your account does not automatically cancel a live subscription — cancel it directly in your App Store or Play Store subscription settings to stop future billing.
